the other day, mine was.
it was nothing big but it meant a lot to me.
sunday. i was driving around with my friend doing my usual sunday drive.
we stopped at a friends house who wasn't home.
we got back into my car and it didn't start!
i mean.. it was completely dead.
no power.. no turning over... nothing.
how could it just not start when we had just driven in it?
i just shocked.. i just got a new battery a month ago! what the heck!
well, i thought to myself.. hello?! say a prayer Erin!
i did just that while my friend insisted i call a tow truck to get it jump started.
i followed my friends advice and called one but hung up when they answered.
a little voice inside my head said to open my hood and tighten the battery screws.
i thought.. why? if it's dead.. it's dead. but i listened.
to my surprise, it started!
so i thanked my Heavenly Father.
it's so amazing to know that he is always there whenever we need him.
"and now, i, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; i would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith."-ether 12:6
seeing is not always believing!
on another note..
last week, my buddy Fuzzy asked me what my favorite scripture was from the BOM.
i didn't know what to say.. i always clam up when i get called on unexpectedly!
i just said.. oh i like all of them.
yes, that is true but i do have a favorite one, Fuzzy.
i know you will never see this but to answer your question Fuzzy, its Ether 12.
it is such a powerful chapter.
my favorite verse out of it is, Ether 12:27.
it's a scripture mastery so you know it's good!
"and if men come unto me i will show unto them their weakness. i give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will i make weak things become strong unto them."-ether 12:27
anyway, keep your faith!
