six feet under the stars

so lately, i have been obsessed with cooking.. which is good in my opinion!

unfortunately, most of my obsession has been cooking lots of deserts.. especially PEACH COBBLER!!! soooo delicious, i tell you! 

last monday, my friend M & I went to the desert and made peach cobbler in the dutch oven! it was so much fun. our peach cobbler was more like peach soup yet it tasted so good. while we were waiting for our cobbler to cook, we watch the movie, Obsessed on the laptop! then we watched the stars. i can't tell you how much i love looking at the stars. i literally saw like 9 shooting stars.  um.. if you know how much i LOVE shooting stars & making wishes on them... then you KNOW i was in HEAVEN! it was ssooooo coool!
so yeah. that was a fun, fun night!

these past weeks have been a blast. im so pleased with life right now. im so happy that certain things happened to bring me to where i am now. i feel close to Heavenly Father. its just an awesome feeling. i no longer worry about what i can't change & the things that have hurt me but instead, i am letting go and just being happy regardless. last wednesday, i started institute. i love it! i'm sad that my class has more girls than guys but i've been praying to make more LDS girl friends so maybe it's an answer to my prayers! then after institute, i went bowling with some friends! it was so fun!

then yesterday, i had some blast from the pasts. it's soooo weird how that happens. i often wonder why people pop in & out of your life. as much as i wanted to be rude because some of them have hurt me, i didn't. i don't want to have enemies so i was happy with the way i handled myself. the funny thing is, when i was getting ready for bed, i was reading chicken soup for the LDS teenager's soul and this struck me,

"Bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 5:44

such an amazing scripture! i've been praying to that my enemies will become my friends.. looks like they have or are starting to be! 

life is great! :)
