costa vida & gingerbread fun

On friday, my new friend kristen & i went to lunch at costa vida.

it was so much fun to have some girl time & just talk.

i'm so glad to have a new, awesome friend!!

um yeah.. i look awful in the rest of the pics but we went to her sister's house & played with her niece & nephew. they are adorable kids!!

then after, rob & i went out to dinner at carraba's & while there

we decided we wanted to make a gingerbread house & watch christmas movies.

it was such a fun night.

we had to practice our gingerbread making skills because we are going to make them with his family & we want to show them all up! haha

then on sunday, we had stake conference which means we didn't go!

rebels.. i know.

we went to his parents house for sunday dinner like usual!

then we all went to see temple lights together.

it was so fun.

then we went back to his parents & ate cookies & played games.

it was a wonderful day!

rob is seriously so awesome.

i can be having the worst day & he will make it better.

i love how i can tell him anything & he will listen & be a shoulder to cry on.

i'm thankful for his family & the love that they all share for each other.

i absolutely love going over to his parents house on sundays & then playing games.

i wish my family were like that but i can't change that.

i love absolutely love families.

i'm happy that i've been able to be around so many awesome ones so i get an idea of how i want my future family & what fun things i want to do with them.
