temple lights

on tuesday,

my awesome boyfriend told me that we were going to have a little date night.

he said he was going to make me dinner & then he didn't mention what else we were going to do.

so, he came & picked me up then we ate his dinner concoction.

i was kind of nervous.

to my surprise,

he made potato soup.

it was in fact delicious.

he can definitely cook!

then we got in his car & drove.

he said that we had to make a stop on the way.

he pulled into QT & we got hot chocolate (my favorite).

haha then i knew we were going to the temple.

i was right!!

i love going to the temple & especially right now, to see the lights.

it was pretty late & the visitors center was closing pretty soon but we fortunately got to watch luke 2.

the spirit we both felt was very strong.

i love that feeling.

this date may have been one of our cheapest but i honestly feel like it was one of the best.
i definitely love to see the temple!

oh & this is maple's christmas tree.

we decorated it about two weeks ago & i just wanted to show it off.

we are very proud of it because we did it!

when he got it, we both couldn't wait to put it up.. even if it was  before thanksgiving.

then last friday, we tackled his outside christmas lights.

it looks good!

yay for christmas.
