christmas & new years

i can't believe it's 2010.

i feel so old.

where has the time gone?

on christmas eve,

i went with robbie & his family to see "the blindside."

it was such a good movie.

then we all went out to eat at charleston's.

after that, we went to robbie's parents house & opened a few presents.

one of which was christmas pajamas for us all!

once we were done, we watched fred clause.

then on christmas, i didn't really do anything.

but later, robbie & i opened our presents to each other.

he got me a personalized Sun's jersey & black Ugg boots.

I got him a personalized Sun's jersey as well, a calgary flames shirt & Big star jeans!

it was fun having our first christmas together!

for new years,

robbie's family decided to go to california.

robbie really wanted me to go but i had prior obligations.

i felt so bad that i couldn't go.

on new years eve day,

i found a way i could do both.

i would drive to cali with them & then fly home on jan. 2nd.

we left on new years eve.. i luckily had the day off!!


we had a fun drive to cali.
once we got to our hotel, it was like 9pm.
we changed & went out to eat at california pizza kitchen.
it was delicious.

then we headed over to downtown disney & waited for the fireworks to start.

on friday:
we woke & ate breakfast.
i got a call from US airways tell me my flight was cancelled.
anyway,
then we headed to disneyland & rode indiana jones first!!

after that we rode pirates of the carribean & then some of us went on splash mountain!!

all of us on space mountain.
yeah... um i got sick!
then we rode on star tours which made me even worse.
i literally threw up on star tours.
gross i know.


robbie & i went to this mall by our hotel so i could get some clothes since i didn't really bring much considering i thought i was leaving on saturday.
so that took forever since i've very indecisive so we barely had time to get ready before we all went out to eat at p.f changs!!
after dinner, robbie & i didn't feel well so we just went back to the hotel & watched tv.
i fell asleep.
apparently, it snowed at disneyland & we missed all the excitement.




saturday:
we got up & ate.
then we went to california adventure.
his family was in line at the grizzly rapids ride.

(excuse the random girl next!)
after that we rode soarin'!

robbie's dad rented an electric wheelchair because his knees are bad.but it also benefitted us because we got to get on the rides so fast.we tried out the new toy story ride.. um yeah. that's such a cool ride. we rode tower of terror 2 times in a row.. the line was super long so we were so excited!!

                

after all that fun, we headed to disneyland.

but we had to get our pics with the letters first.

robbie's family wanted to go on space mountain so he & i went on pirates since i can't handle space mountain & then we all met up & went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.

we went to ruth's chris.

it was so cool because we got our own dining room.

it was amazing.

then we all went back to disneyland.

we all rode indiana, pirates & the haunted mansion.

then robbie's siblings wanted to go on space mountain so they did that while robbie, his mom, his dad & i all went on splash mountain.

well minus his mom.. she waited for us.

we all got right on splash & had the log to our self! it was awesome.

then we went on it's a small world.

i usually hate that ride but it was all christmasy so it was cute.

then everyone else left & robbie & i went on the matterhorn. then we left!

sunday:

we left california..

it was devastating.

i could have stayed forever.

:(

it was such a fun trip.

what a great way to start 2010! :)
