engaged!!

as of 1.10.10,

i am officially engaged!!!

i couldn't be more excited.

engagement story:

robbie & i both go to the same ward which is nice.

he always picks me up at my house for church.

so the 10th was like any other sunday.

he picked me up, we sat with his parents... went to classes, etc.

after church, robbie dropped me off at my house & i hurried, changed my clothes & ran back out to his car.

i asked him if we were going to go to his house & he could change his clothes like we normally do but he said he wanted to go on a Sunday drive since he hasn't really gotten to drive his car to see how it handles.

i was like uhh okay!

i thought it was kinda weird but then i thought well maybe he really wants to drive his car?!

so told me we were going to drive to canyon lake.

so we were just enjoying each others company..

then i looked at the clock.

it was 4:15pm.

i said, "robbie, don't we need to go. we have 15 mins to get to your parents house for dinner."

he was like, "oh its fine. i told them they don't need to wait for us. we can just get some snacks at qt."

i thought that was kinda weird.

so i thought i was going to throw up going through those windey roads so i was relieved when he pulled into a parking lot for canyon lake.

we got out of the car & looked at the view.

it was really pretty but i was pretty cold.

this couple next to us asked if we could take their picture so robbie did.

then suggested that we go to his car & get his camera.

i thought to myself.."since when does robbie carry a camera in his car."

we went & got his "camera" anyway.

he was on my side of the car & pulled out roses!!

then he got on his knee with the ring box opened & asked me to marry him!! :)

it was precious.

even though i was in my cardinals jersey & he was in his church clothes!! :( not fair. (he later changed)

oh & to make matters better, the cardinals WON!! :)
